Shawn Emran

Shawn Emran is the founder of Emran Group. He has been involved in many engineering projects such as Engineers’ Without Borders, University of Calgary Solar Car, Ryerson University Supermileage and Ryerson University Aerospace Design. His roles in these projects ranged from design and construction to marketing and project management. He has industry experience through summer employment at Tartan Engineering Ltd. and Fenwick Automotive Products Ltd. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering (2010) and a Certificate in Project Management (2010) at Ryerson University. He is a student member of the Professional Engineers Ontario and the Ontario Society of Professional Engineers.

Mr. Emran graduated from Lester B. Pearson Senior High School of Calgary, Alberta as a scholar in 2005. He received the highest value of the Alexander Rutherford Scholarship signed by the Premier of Alberta for “exceptional academic achievement”. Mr. Emran likes to work-out and run on a regular basis. He currently resides in Brampton, Ontario.
